A-183 has been readded to the game on The 6th of March, 2023, and now may or may not have a different mechanic.

Description
A-183, also nicknamed as "The Bitcrusher",[1] is the eighth entity encountered in Interminable Rooms. It emits a wavy, whirring, and glitching ambient noise and is notably one of the fastest entities in the game, with a maximum speed that surpasses all other entities at its maximum speed.
A-183 is the fastest entity in the game, with an initial speed of 22.388 rooms per second. A-183 progresses in a straight line, starting at the lobby, remaining idle for two seconds before proceeding through the rooms. Upon hitting the latest door, A-183 will rebound, returning to the lobby and overshooting for a few seconds before changing direction. On its last rebound, it despawns once it hits the lobby door. A-183 rebounds the entire map between 2 to 6 times.
What sets A-183 apart from its previous iteration is its enraged mechanic. If the player remains outside of their hiding spot while A-183 is nearby, the entity will briefly stop and emit an extremely loud, metallic scream in rage. After remaining stationary for three seconds, A-183 will return to rushing through the rooms, and contrary to popular belief, it now goes at a slower speed, going at 17.91 rooms per second, returning to normal after exactly 20 seconds.
As there is no obvious auditory cue for the departure of A-183, it is recommended that the player remains in their hiding spot until they can confirm that the entity has gone, which will be indicated by the absence of any sound or the presence of the entity. This strategy may, however, require a significant amount of time to complete.
Appearance
A-183 is a white, pixel art smile, with a wide open, moving mouth and pupils that pulse and also switch between two frames. The pupils move around the center of A-183's eyes. It emits a radiant orange hue, which, when paired with its purely white decal, gives the image of the entity being orange. Should it be enraged, the pupils in its eyes shift to an 'X' and '+' shape.
Strategy & Tips
- To survive an attack from A-183, one must get in one of the following hiding spots: locker, functional blue locker, table or fridge.
- When A-183 is rebounding, it is recommended not to exit the hiding spot as there might not be enough time to get back into it again.
- In later rooms, usually around A-200, it will take a few seconds for A-183 to reach the current room. This time can be used to open a few more doors, although it is dangerous to do this.
- A-183 might be a bit hard to hear, so it's recommended to not leave the hiding spot until he rebounds at least 4 times.
- Do not use visual cues, as A-183 will eventually fly into a rage and eventually will have 2-3 seconds to find shelter and hide in it.
Notes
- A-183 will let out a loud metallic scream when enraged and stop for a few seconds before moving again. This is only occurable if it catches a player that isn't hiding nearby.
- This event occurs when A-183 is 1000 or fewer studs away from the player in question and can also be triggered more than once.
- A-183 makes an 8-bit explosion noise when it spawns, but it cannot be heard from far away.
- As mentioned in the description, A-183 is not only the fastest entity in the Section A, but is the fastest entity in-game alongside V-27 at its max speed.
- A-183 can rebound up to a maximum of 6 times, with the minimum being 2.
- At maximum speed, A-183 normal state takes 17.904 seconds to run through the entire A-Section. During its enraged state, it takes 22.38 seconds.
- A-183, prior to the Entity Extravaganza update, was a simple rebounder, rebounding 5 to 15 times.
- A-183's scream reaches a maximum of 124.7 decibels, making it the loudest entity. For comparison, A-183's scream is just a tiny bit quieter then a jackhammer, or louder then a rock concert or siren.
- A-183 was removed in the Entity Extravaganza Part 1 update due to its mechanic still being in development. It was later readded in the Entity Extravaganza Part 2 update.
- When it was first readded, A-183 used to slow down when near a hiding player to 0.224 rooms per second (15 studs per second), although this wouldn't happen while enraged. This feature was later removed.
Trivia
- A-183's creator, Zvardin, has given the entity the nickname "The Bitcrusher",[2] however, its nickname was later simplified by IR: Rebuilt developer named Ping, with its shortened nickname being "Bitcrusher",[1] making it one of three entities to receive more than one nickname. This is not referenced in-game, however.
- A-183 is actually white, but its image is influenced by its light, making it look orange.
- A-183's screaming sound is A-15's jumpscare sound slowed down.
- A-183's eyes, mouth and pupils are separate sprites.
- A-183's sprites were created using the piskel app.
- A-183 has official T-Shirts and a shirt on ROBLOX that can be seen in the gallery and found here, here, here, and here.
- A-183 has the most merchandise out of all the entities currently in-game.
- A-183 and A-246 have similar jumpscares and the same jumpscare sound.
- In rare occasions, A-183 will get stuck, normally on tables or crates.
- It was believed that A-183 was to stop spawning at room 366 and onwards. This was later proven false, as shown in the gallery.
- Strangely, A-183 appears to have teeth or stray pixels outside its mouth.
- A-183 has an unofficial x variant called X-183 which is the same but with more spiky teeth and with a blue glow, it can only be spawned by admins.
- A-183 has family members, shown in Zvardin's community tab, however the only ones that are in game are R-183, P-831, and Z-72 which can only be spawned by admins.
- A-183 is the first entity to be pixelated, second being V-160, third being V-50, fourth being XV-5, fifth being XXV-5 and the sixth being X-183.
- A-183's name is likely inspired by the year 1983, due to it sharing the last 2 digits and also with the year having a technological history of being the era which mobile phones were first made, and good year for technology in general, however this is unconfirmed.
- Coincidentally, however, the first game starring the Mario Bros was also made during this year.
- A-183’s 3rd old face still exists, but only in the jumpscare, as it hasn’t changed since it was first added.
- A-183 is able to go faster than sound, due to its speed being 420 meters per second (1500 studs per second), while the speed of sound is about 343 meters per second.
- It also has defeated the ender dragon from Minecraft many times.
- However, it would then have trouble getting out.[4]
- This is a reference to the Protegent meme, an antivirus heavily speculated to be malware and was used as a template for many memes.
