Description

A-35, or nicknamed as "Wailer",[1] is the second of the multitude of entities in Section A.

A-35 has medium speed, making it much faster compared to the player, as well as being faster than A-15. It can be identified by the loud, whirring noise, accompanied by occasional shrieks and whispers from the entity. This sound can be heard far away, though it is much easier to determine how close A-35 is to the player due to it being loud from far away, unlike A-15. If you collide with A-35, you will die.

Whenever A-35 spawns, it will make a loud, hissing track, identical to whispers. When this happens, it will immediately start rushing to the latest room starting from the lobby onward, killing any unhidden players similarly to A-15. However, a notable feature that distinguishes the two is that A-35 will immediately rebound and head back to the lobby once it reaches the end of the map, that being the latest unopened door. This makes A-35 a dangerous threat for people who are far behind, as they need to hide again when it is heard coming back.

As soon as A-35 reaches the lobby again, it will despawn, unlike its X-Variant, X-35, who will rebound again until it reaches the current room.

Appearance

A-35 appears to be a strange, hand drawn smile. It has a slim, snaking mouth, accompanied by two, massive white eyes, with small pupils dotting them. The bottom of the face has waves of light green and black, as well as a line of green on the inner part of its black outline. It also accompanies another face that bares the same shape, with saturation and brightness inverted, but with the same hue.

In-game, A-35 emits a lime green glow, and the two faces violently move similar to X-60 who has the same mechanic of cloning its faces, switching which is in front every half second.

Strategy & Tips

  • To survive an attack from A-35, The player(s) must get in a hiding spot (locker, functional blue locker, table, fridge).
  • After room A-075, players don’t need to hide instantly if you hear A-35's spawn noise. It will take a while to catch up, so players should try to get through as many rooms as possible until it gets near the current room you're on.
  • Preparing for A-35's approach in multiplayer servers should be a precaution, considering that it is likely that a majority of the doors have already been opened by other players.

Notes

  • A-35 only rebounds once.
  • A-35 can rarely get stuck and rebound several times, though it only travels for an extremely short distance backwards before heading to its intended route.
  • Very rarely, A-35 may go past the map, only to rebound twenty or so seconds later. Do not leave your hiding spot if this ever happens.

Trivia

  • A-35 originates from a face called "Formidable Face" which was a Roblox creepypasta created by user called Azuremaan. [2]
  • A-35 is possibly the second entity to have an X variant, namely X-35, which was replaced with XX-35 during the April Fools event that lasted through April first to April 4th.
    • On the April Fools 2023 Event, there is a chance for a scared A-35 image to appear on the first door in the lobby of Section A.
    • On the April Fools Mode for the Recoded Update, A-35 is replaced with its origin, the Formidable Face.
  • A-35's glow causes its designs to appear fully green, especially its first design, even if it actually has white in it.
  • Like A-15, it appears to get stuck just as often as the former.
    • It tends to get stuck when making contact with a table in the Kitchen or the table in the Projector Room, as well as the columns in the Column Room.
  • A-35's jumpscare sound comes from a rhythm thief video.
    • Its jumpscare sound is actually 2 sounds from that video combined, specifically 0:24 and 0:54. (The video is less than 54 seconds, this is inaccurate).
    • Along with that video is also the source of A-15's and A-120's jumpscare.
      • Due to A-183's scream being A-15s jumpscare slowed down, technically it is also A-183s source as well.
  • A-35 has an XXX variant called XXX-35 which is an entity only that can only be spawned by Admins.
  • Similar to how A-60 and A-200 have nicknames, Zvardin, with the help of IR: Rebuilt developer Ping, has gven A-35 a nickname, being "The Wailer", however, this is not referenced in-game. [1]

  • A-35 and A-15 are best friends. [3]
    • A-15 and A-35 are the type of entities to accidentally summon a wendigo by being told to screw in a lightbulb. [4]
  • A-35 sells bread. [5]
  • A-35 is pretty good at basketball. [6]
  • A-35 is good at surfing. [7]
  • A-35 likes noodles. [8]
  • A-35 is 28 years old. [9]
  • A-35 likes toast with butter. [10]
  • A-35's family does actually exist, and consists of 9 members, but they will probably never appear in-game. [11]
  • A-35 is scared of heights. [12]
    • Due to this, A-332 once grabbed A-35 and ran all the way to the top of a very tall building to make it very scared.[12]
  • According to Zvardin, A-35 eats drywall for lunch.

  • Glitches & Bugs

    • When A-35 is going through rooms, it will stop moving and go backwards for about 0.5 - 1.5 seconds and then will return to normal. This usually happens after its first rebound and before its first rebound.
    • A-35 has a chance to go through the door and not rebound, this means it will stay, or move out of the map for about 1-4 seconds before rebounding.

    Version History

    • October 28th 2022 - 1.0 / Game Release

    Description

    X-35 is a much more difficult iteration of A-35, being the second X-Variant to be added in-game. It is extremely quick, so hiding is required once the entity's ambience is heard, in which is A-35's but of higher pitch.

    X-35 will begin at the start of the map (otherwise known as room 0), making higher pitch hissing than its regular iteration upon arrival. Once this happens, it will depart and immediately move to the latest unopened door, speeding through the rooms at a much faster pace when compared to A-35. Like the former, X-35 will rebound and head back to the lobby once it reaches the latest unopened door. However, once it does reach the lobby, it will rebound again, this time heading to the latest unopened door again. This means that every player should be aware of X-35's presence, as it can provide a serious threat in multiplayer servers.

    Once X-35 hits the latest unopened door again, it will despawn.

    Appearance

    X-35 is a pink and black colored A-35, being much more distorted when compared to the former, having far wider pupils and a crooked mouth.

    In-game, eludes a glaringly bright magenta glow, with its two faces far more disconnected when compared to A-35, allowing a players to see the two individual faces easier.

    Strategy & Tips

    • To survive an attack from X-35, player(s) must get in a hiding spot (locker, functional blue locker, table, fridge).
    • After room A-130, you should not hide immediately if you hear X-35. It will take a little while to catch up, so try to get through as many rooms as possible until it gets near.
    • Since X-35 will come back after rebounding, try to move as far as possible until you hear it getting closer. If you are below room A-100, consider staying in your hiding spot until X-35 despawns.

    Notes

    • X-35 is an evidently quicker, slightly more difficult variant of A-35 that is usually encountered beyond rooms A-100.
    • X-35 rebounds two times in total (off the latest room's door and the lobby).
    • It should NOT be able to spawn before room A-075.
    • X-35 is guaranteed to replace A-35 above rooms A-350.
    • The chances of X-35 replacing A-35 are:
      • A-075 to A-124: 4% or 1 in 25;
      • A-125 to A-174: 6.67% or 1 in 15;
      • A-150 to A-199: 10% or 1 in 10;
      • A-200 to A-249: 12.5% or 1 in 8;
      • A-250 to A-299: 20% or 1 in 5;
      • A-300 to A-349: 50% or 1 in 2;
      • A-350 and onwards: 100%.
    • Due to how XX-35's chances are calculated, X-35 has slightly smaller chances of spawning during the April Fools 2024 Event:
      • A-075 to A-124: ~3.947% or 74/1825;
      • A-125 to A-174: ~6.519% or 44/675;
      • A-150 to A-199: ~9.667% or 29/300;
      • A-200 to A-249: ~11.98% or 23/192;
      • A-250 to A-299: ~18.667% or 14/45;
      • A-300 to A-349: ~41.667% or 5/12;
      • A-350 and onwards: ~66.667% or 2/3.

    Trivia

    • X-35 uses A-60's old mechanic where it would've rebounded twice as the former entity does. The latter now remains stationary in the current room for four to five seconds.
    • Like A-35, any part that is colored white appears pink due to its bright glow, more prevalent in its first design.
    • If one were to invert X-35's colors, it would provide an entity possessing the same colors as A-35. This can be seen in the gallery below.
    • During the April Fools 2023 Event, X-35 was temporarily, but automatically replaced by a much quicker variant known as XX-35. It is currently removed from the game due to the conclusion of the aforementioned event.
    • A-35 will get the ability to transform into X-35, as confirmed by Zvardin here, This change was also made with X-15.
    • Because X-35 is a more powerful form of A-35 (rendering them the same entity), it also sells bread.
    • X-35's jumpscare sound is actually A-278's jumpscare but pitched to 1.5.
      • X-35's ambience is also just A-35's ambience but at 5x speed instead of 4x speed.

    THIS ENTITY IS NOT CANON, AND CAN ONLY BE ENCOUNTERED IN THE HISTORY.

    Description

    XX-35 is the second of the four "XX-Variant" entities and was added in the April Fools 2023 Event along with other entities of similar nature, as well as some minor changes. It is another runner-type entity along with its predecessor, XX-10 as well as its successor, XX-60. Its function is identical to the entity it replaced temporarily, X-35, as both entities will replace their normal variants and would begin from the lobby and would quickly traverse through the rooms before rebounding off the current room's unopened door and then rebounding off the lobby where it will then despawn upon contact with mentioned last unopened door. Similar to how X-Variants (except X-60 and possibly XE-1) function, its chances of replacing its normal counterpart, A-35 would steadily increase the farther the player traversed into the section, especially past room A-100.

    Just like XX-10, its speed is double that of X-35's normal speed and it does emit audibly higher pitched noises than its X-Variant. Because it is considerably fast, it would've caused little to no screen-shaking whatsoever which may had proven to be very dangerous. Also due to its very quick speed, it will despawn decently frequent.

    Since it is an April Fools' entity, not much information can be provided in regards to the entity as it is simply a quicker version of X-35 and had no other unique attributes — also because it is an April Fools' Event entity, it was quit of rage along with the conclusion of the event.

    Appearance

    XX-35's appearance was a blue re-coloration of normal A-35, though some noticeable differences were the warp effect around the upper-right hand side of the entity as well as a much more major arc-like mouth with a jagged texture around the center of it. Its left eye (opposite of one's perspective) is also noticeably influenced by the shape of its mouth. its appearance and color/glow attributes seemed to mimic the attributes of regular A-15.

    Strategy & tips

    • Like any runner-type entities, its attacks can simply be warded off by hiding within any (grey/blue) lockers, under tables or fridges. It has no unique properties which would require the player to switch from one spot to another.
    • Visual cues (screen-shaking) aren't a good method of denoting its presence, sound cues are much more reliable and simpler to use.

    Notes

    • The chances of XX-35 replacing A-35 are:
      • A-075 to A-124: ~1.333% or 1 in 75;
      • A-125 to A-174: ~2.222% or 1 in 45;
      • A-150 to A-199: ~3.333% or 1 in 30;
      • A-200 to A-249: ~4.167% or 1 in 24;
      • A-250 to A-299: ~6.667% or 1 in 15;
      • A-300 to A-349: ~16.667% or 1 in 6;
      • A-350 and onwards: ~33.33% 1 in 3.

    Trivia

    • XX-35 was added in the April Fools 2023 Event and since it has been concluded, the entity is no longer in the game along with some other XX Variants, such as XX-10, XX-60 and XXE-1 .
      • As of the 2024 event, it is back in the game.
    • XX-35 has an XXX variant named XXX-35, which uses images made by Jeremy_Polio.
    • It has been stated by Zvardin that if X3-35 was ACTUALLY a thing, it would actually be cyan.[13]

    THIS ENTITY IS NOT CANON, AND CAN ONLY BE ENCOUNTERED IN THE HISTORY.

    Description

    SCARY-35 is the second entity in Scary Mode and an exclusive entity exclusive to the April Fools 2024 Event. SCARY-35 can only appear if Scary Mode is activated, and starts spawning past room A-035.

    When spawning, it will rapidly make its way to the current room and rebound upon reaching the door, similar to its normal counterpart, A-35. However SCARY-35 will rebound two times, and gains more speed each rebound. After the two rebounds, it will despawn upon reaching the lobby.

    Appearance

    SCARY-35 appears thus similarly to X-35, although the entity is red along with having a much more evil-ish look to it, the entity's pupils are also red, and has 3 little particles on the corners of the image.

    Notes

    • SCARY-35 speeds up by 2.239 Rooms per second each rebound, or 150 Studs per second.

    Trivia

    • SCARY-35 used to rebound much more, however this was nerfed in an update.
