Not to be confused with its April Fools 2023 Event variant, A-50.

Description[]

A-60, also nicknamed as "The Multimonster"[1] (or alternatively, "The Multi Monster"[2]) is the third Section A entity players will encounter, and is the first entity from the original Rooms (the second being A-200), which served as the inspiration for Interminable Rooms. The entity is a runner-type entity similar to its predecessor, A-35, and moves quicker in terms of speed. When spawning, a slight static noise can be heard signifying its presence — albeit, it is quite difficult to hear from afar — and will proceed to emit a low, droning static for its ambience.

Similarly to its predecessors, A-60 will spawn within the Lobby and will immediately begin traversing the rooms at a decently quick pace, and continue to do so until it has reached the last generated room at the time of its activity. Upon reaching the latest room, it will not despawn immediately, instead it will idle at the center of the room — or wherever it is positioned after bouncing off the door due to its high speed sometimes — for roughly four to six seconds before despawning. For further information, A-60 is different than its original Rooms counterpart in the sense that the latter accumulates a greater movement speed the further the player traverses into the rooms while the former maintains a constant speed; it will also remain idle in the room it is currently in if all players are hiding, while A-60 will continue moving forward regardless if all players are hiding.

A-60 can be considered the most iconic entity of any Rooms Fangames, considering it makes numerous appearances in other games and is commonly associated with Rooms; it often serves as the inspiration for many entities in those games.

Appearance[]

A-60 appears almost identical to how it does in the original Rooms; two horrific red faces that rapidly overlay and switch through five different forms. It emits a bright red glow and causes a heavy screen-shake to any players within its presence. Below can be seen a description of each face's appearance, alongside the face itself.

A-60's first face is a menacing smiling face facing toward the right, that seems to have raw, yellowish teeth and glowing red sinister eyes. It's also a bit squished. Its origin comes from a character called "The Guy" from the American heavy metal band "Disturbed".

Its second face is the most popular A-60 face. It is again, a smiling face, however this time it leans toward the left. It also has blood around it, with its mouth being separated and its teeth grey, the eyes looking are unaligned simple black circles (oval once compressed) with bloody runoff in a straight line downard. The image is compressed in-game, but once it's shown in its jumpscare, it reverts to its original size.

The entity's third face is that of SCP-087-B. It has a bloody smile, with white dots for eyes. It is also the root image for A-246, "A-278" including its variants, and "U-5".

Its fourth face is an insane, white toothy grin, with an unhinged expression. This is a popular origin face, being that of A-15, X-15, A-300. A-120, its variants, "U-10" and "E-22". It originates from a Blockland Mod Called "Renderman".

Finally, A-60's fifth or last face is a red spiral/swirl, with 2 drooping eyes, and an open mouth with three top teeth, The rest of the mouth is not visible due to the rest of its spiral appearing to turn over it, It is identical to Giygas from the Nintendo game Earthbound, as it was taken directly from Earthbound.

A-60's previously fourth face is a very gory face. Its mouth is a deep cut or wound PNG, and its eyes are gory skin folds. The image used in-game is a recreation of the original, since it was removed, though the current one was removed as well. With the removal of the replacement, this face was entirely removed from the game, with A-60 not being able to pick it as a face and it being removed from its variants.

Strategy & Tips[]

  • A-60 can be avoided similarly to any other runner-type entity in the game, simply players must locate any nearby hiding spots (e.g. Locker, Functional Blue Locker, Table, Fridge) and enter it to avoid being killed by A-60.
  • It is also quieter than the entities before it, and eventually after it, which proves to be a threat when in the presence of other entities. To counter this, players can identify any screen-shaking from an unknown origin, as A-60 is known for causing tremendous screen-shaking. If there is another entity causing this, players should listen for a sound that sounds similar to static and hide if such is confirmed.
  • Players should also wait for A-60 to despawn as soon as it reaches the latest room, as it will not do so until approximately four seconds have passed, where it is then safe to continue further.

Notes[]

  • A-60 behaves similar to how its Rooms counterpart does when it first appears, moving at similar speeds to the current room.
  • It will always take a few seconds for A-60 to spawn upon opening room A-060, so players should be listening for its sound cue after traversing a few rooms forward.
    • Players can usually walk to room A-064 before it spawns. However, it may not spawn until room A-070, if you are fast enough.
    • The game tries to spawn A-60 every minute, which repeats until room A-060 is reached. If timed correctly, the player can have the timer reset right before opening the room, delaying its spawn by one minute.
  • A-60's hitbox is supposedly big, so if the player gets out when it's lingering (only if the player is close) it might kill them.
  • The entity causes screen-shaking to players within a 65-70 rooms radius of it.
  • A-60 usually takes on average, 11 minutes to spawn.
  • Possibly due to A-60 abruptly stopping in front of where it is programmed to stop, its speed commonly causes it to bounce off the door and slowly spiral backwards a couple of spaces, usually stopped by a column or a table.
  • Unlike the original Rooms, A-60 does not use an aim-script.
    • It is also important to note that it does not only pause when everyone is in a hiding spot, like the original game, but only when it reaches the last generated room.
  • A-60 can break the audio, but this only happens on videos or recordings of the game, not the game itself.
  • Rarely, A-60's screenshake will glitch and cause the camera to be permanently stuck. It is recommended to leave the game if this happens.

Trivia[]

  • A-60's creator, nicorocks5555 - has given the entity the nickname "The Multi Monster",[2] its nickname was later changed in Interminable Rooms by IR: Rebuilt developer named, Ping with its new nickname being "The Multimonster",[1] making it one of three entities to receive more than one nickname. although, this is not referenced in-game.
  • This is the first entity to get a face decal of it removed due to violating ROBLOX TOS.
    • Coincidentally, the second is X-60, with the second face. But it's unknown why that face was removed.
  • A-60 is the quietest entity in the entire game, you can hardly tell that it is coming from afar, making it the quietest entity out of all of them.
  • A-60 is different from its original Rooms counterpart, if not evident enough. One example is their speeds: in Interminable Rooms, A-60 remains at a constant 6.91 rooms per second, while A-60 in Rooms gained more speed the more the player encountered it.
  • A-60 is one of the two entities from the original Rooms, the second being A-200 who also makes an appearance further into the rooms.
    • It also acts similarly to the A-60 in original rooms, arriving at a very fast pace, only differing subtly in behavior.
  • A-60's old mechanic was similar to X-35 as it would rebound twice before being changed in 1.2 (entity extravaganza part 1) to simply lingering in front of the last door for a few seconds.
  • A-60 is the third entity in Section A to have an X-variant, and the fourth overall, being X-60, which was replaced with XX-60 during the April Fools 2023 Event. E-1 had an X-Variant before the former.
    • X-60 was likely or implicitly added to the game due to popular demand. Since it wasn't intended to be added, it lacks any unique characteristics other than being slightly quicker and slowly descending into the floor.
  • A-60 had an April Fools variant named A-50 that moved like its original Rooms counterpart and didn't cause screen-shake.
    • It was added due to A-60 being mistakenly referred to as "A-50" when players first encountered it in the original Rooms.
      • Because it was an April Fools' entity, it is now removed from the game.
  • A-60's second face is meshed into a square in-game, however the image in the jumpscare is reverted to its original size.
  • A-60's fourth face is actually made out of real gore.
  • A-60 has multiple jumpscares that is randomly picked from its faces.
    • Whichever face(s) A-60 is currently displaying, one of the two faces will be chosen to be seen in its jumpscare if a player dies to the entity.
  • A-60 has a Section E doppelganger named E-60, it shares many similarities to the entity in design and mechanics, however E-60 speeds up the more it is encountered, unlike A-60.
    • Though, the latter's mechanic is identical to Rooms A-60, as the Rooms A-60 instead has an aimscript to unhidden players, and as well it also speeds up per room opened.
  • A-60's first and fifth faces used to have different iterations used specifically for Interminable Rooms. However, these have been changed back to the original ones from the original Rooms.
  • If a player stands in the back of a room close to the door there is a chance they can survive A-60 without hiding.
    • It is highly unlikely however, as A-60's high speeds in later rooms could result in A-60 overshooting past its idle point, making contact with, then bouncing off the door.
  • Most entities in the game utilize A-60's fourth face as their base image, though this is subject to change due to some entities receiving a redesign in an upcoming update.
    • Its third face is also a viable contender for second most used base image.
  • All of A-60's faces can be found on the Roblox marketplace. The first face is called "No...", the second face is "Scary face", the third face is "Scary Face", the removed face is also "Scary Face", the fifourth face is "very scary face" and the fifth face is "20%20-%20Giygas"
  • A-60 takes around 1 minute to get to Section E if it spawned at the lobby.
  • A-60 can transform into X-60 in The Recoded Update.
  • However, unlike A-15 and A-35 which will always to change into their X variants after A-200, A-60 will only have a 1/25 chance of doing so.
  • A-60's number possibly is a reference to Specimen 2 from Spooky's mansion, although it is highly unlikely as there is no actual evidence other than appearing at the same door number.
  • There are exactly 25 possible combinations of A-60's faces.
  • A-60 is jokingly referred to as "A Dash Sixteh" in Interminable Rooms: Rebuilt.

  • A-60 sells apples.[3]
  • A-60 has family members but there is no image of it yet and they will probably never appear in-game. [4]
  • A-60 killed Noah and John, resulting the latter(s) to become what they are in-game. [5]
  • A-60 is too "swag" to be bullied.[6]
  • A-60 is the first entity who entered the rooms.[7]
    • A-60 is also the first entity to be hired by A-350.[8]

    Description[]

X-60 is one of the four X-Variant entities that roam Section A, along with X-15 and X-35. It is the fourth X-Variant entity to be added into the game, appearing in a minor update after the second part of the Entity Extravaganza update. X-60 the X-Variant of A-60, its appearance and mechanic resembling the latter's.

X-60 is different from other X-Variant entities within Section A, as its chance of appearing does not increase the further the player progresses into the rooms (similarly to XE-1). Instead, the chance of it replacing A-60 remains a constant 1/25 chance.

X-60's mechanic is similar to that of A-60's: it will spawn in room A-000 and rush to the current room, staying in the center of it for a few seconds before de-spawning. Unlike A-60, when X-60 de-spawns, it will descend slowly into the floor, its ambience noise, which consists of various static noises with audible fluctuations in pitch, slowly dying down until no longer audible. X-60's speed is around 1.5x quicker than A-60's.

X-60 is a fairly easy entity to deal with, as it can be dealt with the same way as A-60 and most runner-type entities. Despite being much quicker than its counterpart, it makes up for this by having a louder ambience, making the entity's presence more obvious and distinguishable. Although X-60 usually does not have a screen-shake, this shouldn't be much of an issue given the aforementioned information.

    Appearance[]

X-60's appearance resembles that of A-60's. However, it exhibits a yellow tint instead of red, and its faces are mildly distorted, such as its "Giygas" sprite being flipped horizontally, as well as some sprites being inverted in brightness. Although most of the entity's sprites are the same as A-60's, there are some new sprites included as well, such as "Creepy Face", which is also one of A-100's sprites, "Scary Face 2.0", which is a recreation of A-60's first sprite, and the face of SCP-087-1. Below can be seen a description of each face's appearance, alongside the face itself.

    X-60's first face is TBA.

    X-60's second face is TBA.

    X-60's third face is TBA.

    X-60's fourth face is TBA.

Finally, X-60's fifth or last face is TBA.

In-game, X-60 has a clone of itself that follows alongside the other face, both seemingly continuously orbiting around each other.

    Strategy & Tips[]

    • To survive X-60, players must hide in any hiding spot (grey locker, functional blue locker, fridge, table). Once X-60 rushes into the room and fully de-spawns, players can leave their hiding spot.

    Notes[]

    • X-60 has a very distinct ambience noise, it being the same static A-60 uses, but frequently fluctuating in pitch. Its ambience steadily decreases as it drops into the ground during its despawn sequence.
      • X-60's spawn cue has a very slight difference to that of A-60's, though it is hard to hear.
    • X-60 will likely not spawn throughout a run due to its low chance of replacing A-60, which doesn't spawn very commonly.
    • During the April Fools 2024 Event, X-60's chances were increased from ~3.333% (1/30) to ~33.333% (1/3). However, due to it only spawning if XX-60 doesn't spawn (~83.333% or 5/6), the actual chance is ~27.778% (5/18).
    • X-60 lacks a screen-shake, so players should keep their volume up to be able to notice the entity's presence.
    • X-60 can spawn as soon as room A-060.
      • This is entirely unique for this entity and XE-1, as the other X-Variants are programmed not to.
    • X-60 cannot harm players when in its despawn sequence, though players should be cautious when leaving their hiding spots early.

    Trivia[]

    • Due to the yellow glow it eludes, X-60's faces can be perceived as yellow, either partially or fully, with the exclusion of its fifth face, as it is fully black, and the fourth face, as it is already yellow.
      • This is still the case, but outdated due to the redesign, yet some faces are clear and some are yellow which still brings some truth to the statement.
    • X-60 was added into the game most likely due to popular demand.
    • X-60 used to be in the game files before its release, however, Zvardin had to make it be able to spawn due to it being leaked.
    • For the duration the April Fools 2023 event, whenever X-60 spawned, it would be replaced by XX-60. This second X-Variant of A-60 is no longer in-game as of the event's conclusion.
    • X-60 has multiple jumpscares. It can pick any of its different faces to use in the jumpscare. Similarly to A-60, X-60 will use one of the faces it is currently displaying.
    • X-60 is of the two X-Variants, the second being XE-1, that is able to be spawned at its designated room.
    • X-60's fourth face can be faintly seen on the metal structure in the lobby by the door to A-001.
    • X-60 was going to be remade in the Recoded Update, with a new design and mechanic.
      • Originally, it was considered to be removed in the update, but this was likely scrapped.
    • X-60 had a old design, which can be seen in the gallery below.
      • The fleshy face design wasn't shown, as it was used in the Recoded design. Some of the developers thought it was good enough to be used.
      • In the Interminable Rooms Discord server, A video is shown that X-60 will have/or has a new animation.

    Version History[]

    • March 11th 2023 - Update 1.6
      • Added to the game.
    • Unknown
      • Its chances have been increased from 2% (1/50) to ~3.34% (1/30).
    • April 5th, 2024(?) - Update 1.12.2
      • Its chances have been increased from ~3.34% (1/30) to 4% (1/25).
    • April 14th, 2024 - Update 1.12.4
      • Its design has been changed along with a new animation. It now only has 5 faces, with the fourth face being removed.

    Faces[]

THIS ENTITY CAN ONLY BE ENCOUNTERED IN THE HISTORY, IT IS NOT CANON TO THE GAME.

    Description[]

XX-60 is an entity that is a much faster version of A-60/X-60. It had the same function as X-60 and seemed to be faster. Like other entities, it spawned at A-000 and rushed to the latest room. It then paused and descended similarly to X-60, but a bit faster.

    Appearance[]

XX-60 has the same appearance as A-60, although now being heavily distorted and having a green color. In-game, it has a green glow, and similar animation to X-60. Below can be seen a description of each face's appearance, alongside the face itself.

XX-60's first face is a distorted version of A-60's first face, now facing farther to the right and having a somewhat 3D effect.

XX-60's second face is a distorted version of A-60's second face, being twisted to now have a wave-like shape, and now being colored green. It appears to be much shorter than the normal variant.

XX-60's third face is a distorted version of A-60's third face, with it being squished to have a tall grin and mad eyes, appearing to be 'mischievous', alongside the green color.

XX-60's fourth face is a distorted version of A-60's fourth face, being distorted to look like the PogChamp emote from Twitch.

XX-60's fifth face is a distorted version of A-60's fourth face, being much happier and having a green tint.

Finally, XX-60's sixth or last face is a distorted version of A-60's fifth face, but with a strong swirl effect alongside a blur effect. It also has a green coloration.

    Strategy & Tips[]

    • To survive an attack from XX-60, the player(s)must get into any hiding spot (Lockers, Functional Blue Lockers, Tables, Fridges). and wait for a couple second as XX-60 will stay in the current room for 5-7 Seconds. Turn your volume to 100 and if you hear an static hide in a locker or table.

    Notes[]

    • XX-60 is slightly faster than the X-60 speed difference being approximately 3.63 RPS (rooms per second) more.
    • XX-60, having the same mechanic as X-60, also has the same despawn animation.

    Trivia[]

    • XX-60 was added to the April Fools Update, rendering it as a joke.
    • So far, every variant of A-60 has been in rainbow order. (A-60 being red, X-60 being yellow, and XX-60 being green.) In theory, this would mean that an XXX-60 would be cyan or blue.
      • This has been disproven, as Zvardin has stated that XXX-60 would be magenta.[1]
    • XX-60, like other entities, can be spawned by admins as seen here.
    • XX-60 was thought to have three orbiting faces, however it actually has only two, proof is here and the video can be seen here.
      • The reason people thought it had three is because the faces move very fast, creating the illusion of a 3rd face.
      • Its faces actually move along a diagonal plane, rather than a horizontal one like X-60 does.
        • This is an example of the Mandela effect.
    • XXX-60 was going to be an admin-exclusive entity similarly to XXX-35 as seen in a deleted video uploaded by Noonie, however it is unknown what happened to this.

How to survive A-60? (Interminable Rooms) toggle section
To survive A-60 from Interminable Rooms; you must quickly hide in functional hiding spot once you hear it coming. A-60 will rush through rooms in a quick pace and kills unhidden players in its way. If A-60 has despawned in the latest room or passed by through your hiding spot, it is safe to leave your hiding spot (unless if there is other rusher entity in the way).

What is A-60? (Interminable Rooms) toggle section
A-60 (also known as The Multimonster) is a hostile entity in the 2023 Roblox horror game titled 'Interminable Rooms'. It will start appearing once when the player opens a door to Room 60. A-60 appears as six various horrific red faces that overlay and switch each second. It emits a bright red glow and causes a heavy screen shake. It functions similarly to A-15, rushing and killing any players that are unhidden in its way. After it is on the latest room, it will stop rushing and stay idle for a few seconds before eventually despawning. A-60 is considered one of the Rooms Fangames' iconic entities, as it originated from nicorocks5555's Rooms.

You can get A-60 door on Roblox by going to The Rooms easter egg, which is usually found around Door 60 of the Hotel. It is locked behind a secret door. Once you unlock the door, A-60 will typically start appearing on room A-60 and will spawn in a previous room behind the player. Make sure you're quick because A-60 will start chasing any players that are currently not in a Locker!
