Description[]
TLAB-278 is one of the clones A-278 spawns in its sequences. It serves as one of the more prominent clones, due to its mechanic.
TLAB-278 functions alike to A-278 and its other variant, ULB-278, multiplying itself rapidly and traversing Section A, killing any who aren't hiding adequately. What differs this entity from the rest is its capability of breaking tables, kicking players out of them. This makes them incapable of hiding under tables, or, if taking into account the presence of ULB-278, not even blue lockers.
TLAB-278's sound is a static screeching.
Appearance[]
TLAB-278 appears to be a frowning pink face, claiming wide eyes and a toothy mouth. In-game, it has a magenta glow and circle particles surrounding it.
Strategy & Tips[]
- To survive an attack from TLAB-278, player(s) must get in a hiding spot that is NOT a table or a blue locker because of ULB-278. (gray lockers, fridges).
Notes[]
- Gray lockers should be the only hiding spot used, due to the other minions prohibiting the use of any alternatives.
- TLAB-278 is part of a group of entities, being that of ULB-278 and A-278.
- TLAB-278 makes a wind/growling sound, unlike ULB-278 And A-278.
- TLAB-278's image is an edited version of A-278, however, its root image is SCP-087-B.
- TLAB-278’s jumpscare looks weird, but it is supposed to represent finding you under the table.
- TLAB-278 is the only entity in the game that is able to interact with tables.
- It will always spawn in the middle of the room, but never on the sides. It will also never move backwards like A-278.
- A table can never be interacted with twice by two separate TLAB-278s.
Trivia[]
- TLAB-278 is much slower than its actual speed due to lag, making it go as fast as 0.08 rooms per second.
- TLAB-278 differs from other A-278 clones due to its frowning expression, particles, and having unique sounds and jumpscare.
- TLAB-278's name is "table" spelt poorly, which is the hiding spot the entity is able to interact with unlike others.
- Despite popular belief, TLAB-278 does not check tables, but instead breaks them, preventing them from being used after a raid.
- TLAB-278 is often jokingly called "Timmy".
- TLAB-278's eyes are actually from Prunsel.
- TLAB-278 is the only entity that interacts with hiding spots to not have an animation for its mechanic.
- TLAB-278 and ULB-278 were temporarily removed for about an hour on February 16th of 2024 as a joke. This makes both entities the ones with the shortest removal time.
